(MENAFN) The Sultanate’s largest exchange company, Oman UAE Exchange, made USD2 billion of transmits from Oman last year, compared to USD1.9 billion in 2012, Times of Oman reported.
According to the company, an arrangement with Bank Muscat, the Sultanate’s largest bank, enables an account holder of the bank to transfer funds through the company using the bank’s call center.
Oman UAE Exchange also takes a part in collecting settlement of credit cards issued by Standard Chartered Bank, Oman and air ticket fares for Air Arabia.
The company offers major world currencies at competitive rates, as the largest supplier of foreign currency bank notes.
