Oman views USD 35bn rise in its global tourism

(MENAFN) Oman continues to work on leveraging its global profile, which viewed inbound tourism numbers increase by an average of 7.4 percent in the decade 2005-14.

Moreover, exhibitor chances will be discussed for this year’s annual travel industry showcase as well as look where the country stands to USD 3.3bn of tourism projects.

“Oman’s Tourism Strategy for 2015 through to 2040 has an investment value of USD 35bn and the country is working hard to increase its global appeal,” said Exhibition Manager.

Accordingly, Muscat and Salalah airports logged 18 percent rise in passenger numbers across the capital’s gateway in 2015, exceeding the 10mn passenger mark.
