Omani entrepreneurs key element to boost economy

(MENAFN) The latest reports have revealed that 61 percent of Omani employees working in both public and private sectors seriously consider launching and operating their own business.

However, obviously the financing remains the top obstacle in achieving their aspiration, and here comes the need to encourage more investors to enter the local business playground.

According to nationwide survey only 10 percent of the workforce in Oman have never thought of starting their own business, making the vast remaining percentage filled with ambition.

Entrepreneurs actually contribute to the country’s GDP and help create job opportunities, but strict rules and regulations laid out by the government will always be the main issue.
