Omani oil ministry, Itochu sign oil purchase deal

(MENAFN) Itochu, a Japanese trading company, inked an oil purchase deal with the Omani Ministry of Oil and Gas, Times of Oman reported.

Under the agreement, the Japanese trader will buy 33,000 barrels per day of crude oil from Oman.

Director and managing executive officer (Energy and Chemicals Company division) of Itochu said: “Our business field has been expanding in various ways in Oman, but our core business has always been energy.”
