Omani property trading touch high USD8.8b in Jan-Oct

(MENAFN) Overall traded value of real estate activity in the Sultanate has hit USD8.8 billion by the end of October, representing a 40.7 percent climb over last year’s corresponding timeframe.

The traded value of selling contracts also rose by 2.3 percent to a record USD2.6 billion, plus the fees gathered from all the legal transactions touched USD104.5 million, revealing an 18.5 percent growth.

Moreover, 200.021 title deeds were issued by the end of October, showing a 7.8 percent increase, compared with the data registered throughout the same period of 2014, which was 185.573 title deeds.

Furthermore, the operated value of exchange contracts was at USD45.5 million up to end-Oct, recording a noteworthy increase of 91.3 percent, as opposed to last year’s USD23.8 million.
