Oman’s Budget shortage USD 8.5bn in 2016

(MENAFN) The Sultanate of Oman budget will view a shortfall of USD 8.58bn this year, as stated from Minister Responsible of Financial Affairs.

Moreover, the whole income in the cited year is projected at USD 22.3bn, whereas spending is evaluated at USD 30.9bn.

In addition, the budget deficit this current year will hit USD 8.5bn in comparison with USD 11.7bn last year.

The Omani Minister stated that; the Ministry of Finance will discuss a detailed data on the State’s budget later.
