Oman’s crude production drops to 27mn barrels in Feb

(MENAFN) Oman generated 27.16mn barrels of crude oil in Feb, equivalent to 970.000 barrels per day, according to a report released by the Ministry of Oil and Gas.

Meanwhile, of the total production, some 22.53mn barrels of crude oil were exported in the cited month, equivalent to 948.440 barrels per day.

China was the top importer of the Sultanate’s oil, accounting for 82.49 percent of whole exports, which also shows an increase of 18.33 percent.

In addition, S. Korea imported 4.43 percent of the Sultanate’s crude oil exports, but the nation’s imports fell by 12.25 percent.
