27 Nov 2016

(MENAFN) Oman’s exports for the first half of this year declined to 27.2 percent to OMR4.96bnn from OMR6.82bn in the same period of 2015.

Moreover, the decline was attributed to the fall in oil and gas prices in global markets and a dip in non-oil exports.

In addition, the exports of crude oil, petroleum products and liquefied natural gas plunged to 36.3 percent to OMR2.62bn in the cited period of the year.

On the other hand, non-oil exports also plunged by 23.7 percent to OMR1.247.8mn from OMR1.636.3mn.
