Oman’s foreign trade up 9.1 percent

(MENAFN) Statistics released by the Omani National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) show an increase in the Sultanate’s foreign trade, Times of Oman reported.

The data show that the Gulf Nation’s foreign trade surged 9.1 percent in at the end of November 2013.

The NCSI said that the total value of commodity exports hit USD51.4 billion in the period, versus USD47.1 billion in the same period a year earlier.

Exports of oil and gas products in the period increased 3.4 percent to USD33.9 billion, while exports of non-oil products hit USD9 billion, increasing 7.1 percent.
