(MENAFN) Oman’s insurance premiums increased 10.44 percent to USD945.82 last year, versus USD856.44 in 2012, Arabian Business reported.
A report by the Capital Market Authority shows that health insurance premiums hit USD163.1 million, increasing 38 percent.
Property insurance premiums increased 21 percent to USD134.1 million, while life insurance premiums hit USD87 million, up 16 percent.
The report said that four national companies were among the top five insurers in the Sultanate.
