Oman’s Muriya Tourism to invest USD70mn to add hotel rooms

(MENAFN) Muriya Tourism Development Co., a mutual venture between Egypt Orascom and Oman Tourism Co. (Omran) aims to issue between USD60mn and USD70mn to enhance extra hotel rooms and other facilities.

Accordingly, Muriya has invested more than USD600mn in constructing hotels and infrastructure facilities in Hawana Salalah and Jebel Sifah resorts.

Meanwhile, the firm is adding close to 300 rooms in Salalah in the coming few years, while it is talking about USD60-70mn extra investment in both resorts.

Recently, Muriya has almost 900 hotel rooms, almost 800 rooms in Hawana Salalah and close to 100 rooms in Jebel Sifah.
