(MENAFN) Omani telecom operator Nawras logged a 35.9 percent profit increase in the third quarter due to improved margins, increased revenue and customer base, Arabian Business reported.
Oman’s number 2 telecom operator registered a USD28.1 million net profit in the third quarter, an increase from USD20.72 million year-on-year.
Revenues in the third quarter amounted to USD149.74 million compared to USD131.6 million a year earlier.
Nawras, owned by Ooredoo in majority, was the company which ended Omantel dominance over the telecommunication market in 2015.
