(MENAFN) Oman has recently launched the Partnership for Development (PFD) Program which it’s confident it will lift the economic growth significantly.
Basically, PFD refers to a range of manufacturing and commercial compensation packages usually needed as a condition of purchase from foreign suppliers.
Moreover, the program helps diversify the national economy, enhance the military capabilities and promote human resource development in Oman.
In a different note, the PFD Program began at the Ministry of Defense in 2000 before being transferred to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in 2008.
