Oman’s non-oil exports up 8.4 percent

(MENAFN) The Omani National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) announced an 8.4 percent growth in non-oil exports in the 2013′ first eight months, while non-oil imports expanded at 22.8 percent, Times of Oman reported.

A total of USD6 billion worth of goods were exported from Oman in the first eight months of last year, versus USD5.6 billion in the same period the year before.

A total value of USD22.3 billion worth of goods were imported, against USDS18.1 billion for the same period in 2012.
