Oman’s Sezad gives USD1.6bn construction deals

(MENAFN) Oman’s Special Economic Zone Authority at Duqm (Sezad) has awarded USD1.62bn construction deals till date.

Furthermore, Sezad has also awarded a consultancy project deal worth more than USD78mn, as reported Oman Observer.

Accordingly, projects awarded last month alone reached almost USD127mn in value, underscoring the pace at which its most ambitious economic zone is being developed.

In addition, the contract, covering marine infrastructure and road network linking the facility to the SEZ, is due for completion in Q2, 2019.
