Omniyat to invest USD163m on Dubai Maritime City project

(MENAFN) Omniyat Group announced it began work on its ANWA by Omniyat project, the new seafront development in Dubai Maritime City, which is part of the company’s expansion plans in Dubai Maritime City that includes 53 mixed-use projects, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants and 10 parks, Arabian Business reported.

The USD163 million, 48-storey tower will have 8.133 square feet of retail area as well as landscaped gardens, gymnasium, infinity pool, kids’ pool and play area and barbeque area, with the company saying that it has appointed Kele as the contractor for the project, and Al Ghurair Contracting & Engineering Works as the specialist contractor for piling works.

The company said that the expansion plans of the Dubai Maritime City will also include incorporate retail spaces and offices, as well as a Business District which will have a 3.200-metre-long boardwalk with dedicated jogging and cycling tracks, and facilities which will house some of the largest yacht manufacturers from Europe and Middle East and leading spare parts suppliers and repair centers.

“Through this project, Omniyat is not just developing a dynamic, sea-facing zone, but introducing a concept that guarantees a totally new experience in opulence, distinguished by standout elevation and lavish interiors. It will be Dubai Maritime City’s foremost residential project,” Managing Director of Omniyat Group said.
