(MENAFN) Online businesses are increasing in Egypt, while it is 12th in the world in investing in e-commerce, and by 2020 its e-commerce market will double its 2014 number to reach USD 2.7bn.
Accordingly, there is a lot of e-commerce potential in the country, whereas a “wave of entrepreneurship” is sweeping the Internet.
Moreover, more than 50 percent of Egypt’s population has access to the Internet, and its young people are heavy users of the Web in the Middle East and N. Africa.
Egyptian online shoppers, 50 percent are aged between 26 and 35, while the percentage of Internet users who have shopped online increased to 8.7 percent.
