(MENAFN) Omani Qatari Telecommuni-cations Company (Ooredoo), has reported an 18.7 percent increase in its net profit for the first half of this year.
The company’s revenues for the first half of 2015 rose by 12.6 percent to USD315.5 million compared to USD280.3 million recorded in 2014.
The growth is attributed to mobile and fixed data revenue, and EBITDA for the first half of 2015 stood at USD177 million compared to USD148 million for the first six months of 2014.
Total number of customers increased by 11.4 percent, reaching 2,753,140 at the end of the first six months of this year compared to 2,472,497 for the same period of 2014.
