PDO inks USD1.2bn deal to supply Oman’s Duqm

(MENAFN) Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) signed USD1.2bn deal to supply piping for its drilling operations amid Duqm.

Moreover, the 5-year deal with Japanese supplier Sumitomo involves a new supply yard in the Duqm Zone, which will be a logistics center for materials.

In addition, the deal will confirm PDO as an anchor tenant ad Duqm from mid-2018, with more than 2 shipments a week, carrying 3.000 metric tons of pipe.

The logistics hub will offer integrated supply chain management services, like storage, planning and delivery and 30 trucks a day.
