(MENAFN) The number of pensions paid through Egypt Post offices grew from 61mn accounts in the fiscal years 2014-15 to 65.1mn in FY 2015-2016.
Accordingly, the value of these pensions posted EGP55.7bn in FY 2015/2016, up from EGP49.2bn, an increase of 13.2 percent.
Meanwhile, the authority was also able to enhance the number of saving accounts to 24mn by the end of Dec 2016, compared to 23.1mn in May 2016.
Additionally, Egypt Post achieved EGP1.041bn surplus in FY 2015/2016 budget compared to EGP165mn in FY 2014/2015.
