Petrofac gets USD900m Oman oil contract

12 Jun 2015

(MENAFN) Petrofac Ltd got a USD900 million oil field contract from the state-run Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) to provide variegated services at a field south west of Muscat, Reuters reported.

Specifically, Petrofac will give its engineering and procurement services at PDO’s Yibal Khuff scheme under the four-year contract which is being currently implemented in its first phases.

The Sultanate budget spending has been hit hard by the all time changing oil prices, which in turn led to putting most of the country’s project on hold.
