(MENAFN) A feasibility study has been pledged for a project of a maritime yard in the Kingdom by Bahri, The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia, with Saudi Aramco and Singapore’s Sembcorp Marine, according to Gulf Daily News.
The company will decide the start-project decision within the next year and a half. The company will equip the project with manufacturing, repair, and engineering services, in addition to offshore service vessels and commercial vessels if a go-on decision was made.
Bahri and Vela International Marine were consolidated after Bahri paid USD1.3 billion in October, a step that made Bahri the world’s fourth largest owner of huge oil carriers.
