(MENAFN) Qatar Airways CEO, Akbar Al Baker, announced that the carrier’s cargo unit has received 3 new Airbus A330-200F freighter jets, replacing 3 Airbus A300 freighters, reported Arabian Business.
Al Baker said that the new planes will join Qatar Airways Cargo fleet of 7 planes.
The CEO added that the arrival of the new planes will increase the cargo unit’s capacity, noting that the new aircraft will serve routes including Amsterdam, Amman, Cairo, Colombo and Chennai.
It is worth noting that in June, Qatar Airways Cargo will add its 5th Boeing 777 freighter.
