(MENAFN) Qatar Airways unveiled plans to extend its services reach in Europe, using its next-generation Boeing 787 aircraft, Arabian Business reported.
The Gulf carrier plans to launch the 787 Dreamliner-services to three new destinations in the old continent including Munich, Zurich and Frankfurt.
The Doha-based carrier has started flying the Dreamliner on the Munich, Germany route four-times-a-week.
Qatar Airways also began flying the Dreamliner to Zurich, Switzerland, the airline said in a statement.
Beginning February 1, one of the double daily services to Frankfurt, Germany will be served by a Boeing 787, and will increase the Dreamliner frequency on the Munich and Zurich routes to daily.
Qatar Airways currently operates four 787s, with a further 56 pending delivery. The airline took delivery of its first Boeing 787 in November.
