11 Jul 2012

(MENAFN) Qatar Airways’ chief executive, Akbar Al Baker, stated that recently, the carrier has received two approaches from 2 English Premier League football teams for sponsorship deals, reported Arabian Business.

The CEO said that the offers came from English clubs planning to establish new stadiums

Al Baker also said that although the airline is thinking about the offers, however, it is not ready to accept them at the current time, adding that the company prefers a deal relating to stadium naming rights.

It is worth noting that UK soccer clubs Liverpool and Tottenham are reported to be mulling over establishing new stadiums.
