(MENAFN) Qatar Airways has announced its plan to launch two new regional routes, and expand its connections with the Middle East, according to the Emirates 24/7.
One of the routes will reach Sharjah, while the other will reach Dubai World Central Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), and they both will operate daily from the airline’s hub in Doha.
Sheikh Khalid bin Essam Al Qassimi, Chairman of Department of Civil Aviation-Sharjah, said: “We would like to thank Qatar Airways for their choice to use Sharjah International Airport as a new destination within its international network. This will add value to the travellers using the airport to reach their destinations in Europe, Asia and America.
