(MENAFN) Chief executive of Qatar Airways has announced a plan to launch new operations in Saudi Arabia in the following year, and offer domestic airline services, according to Saudi Gazette.
The new carrier in Saudi will be called Al Maha Airways, and will initially operate in Riyadh and Jeddah.
Akbar Al Baker said: “We have chosen the name of the Saudi carrier … Al Maha Airways. We hope to start operations in the first half of next year.”
