(MENAFN) Luxembourg’s Cargolux spokeswoman stated that Qatar Airways plans to sell its 35-percent stake in the all-cargo airline, reported Arabian Business.
The spokeswoman said that the decision comes as shareholders from the two companies failed to reach an agreement over the carrier’s strategy during their last meeting.
The Qatari carrier acquired the stake in June 2011, however, the value of the deal wasn’t revealed.
It is worth noting that Qatar Airways plans to expand its fleet to at least 170 by 2015 from the current 112 planes.
