03 Sep 2014

(MENAFN) Qatar Airways announced it will start operating a new non-stop service between Doha and Cape Town, South Africa five times a week starting November 3, QNA reported.

Cape Town, which is currently served three times weekly via Johannesburg, is one of the airline’s most popular African destinations and now it will get its own direct route, operated by Qatar Airways’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

“Cape Town has long been one of the most popular destinations with passengers throughout our worldwide network, and with the new services, we are now able to provide our customers with quicker and more convenient connections to one of the most beautiful cities in the world,” Qatar Airways Group CEO said.
