Qatar, bahrain grant deals to TERNA SA

(MENAFN) TERNA SA, a unit of Athens-based GEK TERNA won USD184 million worth of contracts for construction projects in Qatar and Bahrain, Arabian Business reported.

The projects were part of a growing portfolio of projects in the Middle East region, currently totaling USD436.9 million, according to the statement.

The company said it won a deal to build a multi-storey car park in Doha for Qatar Foundation in a deal worth USD150.9 million, with a Metro station built on top of it, expected to finish in September 2013.

The second contract, worth USD31.7 million, was awarded from Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company to build a 10-storey car park with the capacity for 1,400 vehicles, with dining areas on the top floor, and is expected to finish October 2013.
