(MENAFN) Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company reported a net profit of USD1.17 million in the first quarter of the year, marking a slight 2 percent increase year-on-year, Gulf Times reported.
The company attributed the increase to higher rental and operating income, which increased by 6 percent, reaching USD897k. Additionally, direct expenditures decreased by 3 percent.
As a result, the firm recorded a gross operating profit of about USD35k compared to a loss of USD43.9k in the previous year period. The firm’s entire assets were USD48.62 million.
