(MENAFN) Qatar Electricity and Water Company announced that profits in the January-September period fell 6 percent on annual basis, reported The Peninsula.
The company said that net profit in the period went down to USD268.97 million, compared with last year’s USD285 million.
It added that earnings per share (EPS) fell from USD2.85 in last year’s same period, to USD2.68
It is worth noting that sales in the 9-month period went up 3 percent to USD944 million, from 2011’s USD905 million.
