(MENAFN) Qatar-EU bilateral trade volume has been viewing an increase since 2014, while both sides trade value in 2015 reached USD18.11bn, up by 2.66pct.
Moreover, Qatar’s trade surplus with the globe’s largest trade block viewed a triple digit growth in 2015, while total value of Qatar’s exports to the EU was USD9.69bn in 2015.
Additionally, some of the main Qatari imports from the EU nations, involving cars, heavy vehicles, rolling stock and their parts, tools and equipment.
Accordingly, both countries enjoy an old and strong economic relationship, both at government as well as private sector level.
