(MENAFN) Qatar’s economy will remain resilient, supported by solid macroeconomic fundamentals.
Accordingly, the ratings in Qatar may be low if developments in hydrocarbon production and prices were to weaken the country’s fiscal position.
Furthermore, the country could also raise the ratings if it saw local institutions mature faster than predicted.
GDP average has fallen more sharply than the unweighted average over the past 12 months due to lowered rating on the region’s largest economy.
