(MENAFN) The Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS) announced the first estimates of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at recent and constant prices for the Q3 of last year.
Moreover, the quarterly GDP at current prices in the Q3 of 2015 is projected at USD 40.47bn, which represents a fall of 22.8 percent compared to the estimate of Q3 of 2014 placed at USD 52.45bn.
The quarterly GDP in the Q3 of 2015 demonstrates an increase of 3.8 percent compared to the estimate of Q3 of 2014 USD 53.22bn.
The nominal Gross Value Added (GVA) value of the Mining and Quarrying, including Oil and Gas sector in the cited quarter, has been USD 13.87bn.
