(MENAFN) An agreement has been announced between Exxon Mobil and Qatar Petroleum to ship liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the US to the UK, reported Reuters.
A total of 15.6 million tons of LNG will be sent from Texas to Wales yearly.
Britain’s natural gas stocks were running dangerously low, due to a lack of long-term supplies.
It’s worth mentioning that the export approval depends largely on the result of a political debate to be held by US politicians.
