Qatar Railways announces contracts for Doha Metro Project

(MENAFN) Qatar Rails has announced the assignment of four contracts (Design & Build) for the phase one of Doha Metro Project for 8.2 billion Dollars, Arab News reported.
The newspaper clarifies that the contracts associated to Phase one include the following: Red Line North (RLI), Red Line South (RLS), Green Line (GRN), and Major Station (MS).
Phase one of the project is expected to begin at the end of this year and finish in 2019, which will be an improvement for Qatar Rail Development Program.
It is worth noting that Doha Metro will connect important cities like Education City, West Bay, Lusail, Hamad Bin Khalifa International Airport and the QNCC.
