(MENAFN) Qatar said it plans to build 85 new schools as part of its 2014-2015 financial plans to cover the growing demand on the country’s educational system, according to Arabian Business.
The project of the 85 new schools is expected to be completed in the second half of 2015.
By the end of 2014, 29 new schools and 15 kindergartens are planned to be built, said the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
The 85 new schools will help ease the burden on the education system, which is struggling to match the fast growing population.
