(MENAFN) The government of Qatar is set to invest about USD350 billion by the year of 2025 as part of its continual development strategy, a senior official at IFP Qatar said, The Peninsula reported.
The sum encompasses the value of all the prospect projects since the inaugurating of QNV 2030 programme; the industrial projects and the USD70 billion injected in the hospitality and tourism sector are also included.
‘Qatar in the run-up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and in line with the National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030) document will be investing nearly USD350 billion,’ the General Manger of IFP Qatar said.
