(MENAFN) The Qatari Public Works Authority (Ashgal), said that it completed half of its Corniche avenue project to replace roundabouts with traffic lights, Qatar News Agency reported.
Eng. Saud Mohammed Al-Tamimi, Director, Project Management at Ashgal said that the authority seeks to complete this project with the speed and quality needed.
The USD46.67 million project started two months ago to remove the roundabouts from intersections and replace them with traffic lights controlled by smart systems.
