(MENAFN) Msheireb Properties CEO, Abdulla Hassan Al Mehshadi, stated that the company will introduce Gulf’s largest open-air square as part of the regeneration of the historical commercial centre of Doha, reported Arabian Business.
Al Mehshadi also said that the open-air square will be called Al Baraha and will feature state-of-the-art cooling systems to create a comfortable temperature for visitors, even in the hot summer months, so they can enjoy al fresco fine and casual dining at over 15 outlets.
The CEO added that a 19,000 square meter cultural forum will border the square, with features including two art house cinemas and a performing arts theatre, providing a place for expressing creativity.
It is worth noting that Msheireb Properties is a real estate company and a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation. The company was established as a commercial venture to support the Foundation’s aims and the Qatar National Vision 2030.
