(MENAFN) Salini Impregilo, the prime Italian construction company, has managed to secure USD337 million contract in Qatar following a signing with Qatar Public Works Authority (Ashghal), The Peninsula reported.
The contract will be dedicated for building primary urban infrastructure at a residential area in Shamal. The deal is the second for Salini in Qatar after signing USD859 million contract for the construction of Al Bayt stadium in Al Khor.
“Salini Impregilo, part of the consortium created with Bin Omran of Qatar, won over the three competitor consortiums from the Gulf area, Asia and the United States,” Salini said in a statement.
