(MENAFN) Official data showed that the value of Qatar’s assets with non-residents at the end of 2015 recorded USD95.29b up by USD6.45b comparing to USD88.75b posted at the end of the year 2014.
Other foreign investments consisted of long term loans and trade related short term financial instruments accounted for 58% of the followed assets.
However, according to preliminary data by the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics, the net out flows of FDI abroad and other changes amounted to QR1.1b.
By the end of 2015, foreign investments amounted for QR330.7b, or 61%, followed by FDI in Qatar at QR137.2b, or 25%, and portfolio investments at QR73.9b, or 14% of the total liabilities.
