(MENAFN) Qatar’s economy will continue to grow due to its strong macroeconomic fundamentals, despite lower oil & gas prices, which increased at 3.3pct in 2015.
Moreover, the country’s economy is predicted to increase by 3.9 percent this year, as stated the Minister of Economy and Commerce.
Accordingly, last year, despite global economic challenges and falling energy prices, Qatar recorded a GDP growth of 3.7 percent, surpassing the global average.
The country”s macroeconomic fundamentals are positive, therefore, they are predicting the economy to grow by 3.9 percent in the recent year.
