(MENAFN) Qatar’s inflation increased to 0.9 percent year on year in March this year, while the increase was attributed to growth in the cost of Transport and education services.
The consumer price index of the month, reached 108.6, showing an increase of 0.2 percent compared to the CPI of Feb this year.
However, there were also falls in prices in many groups, which involved food and beverages by 0.6 percent, housing, water, elect and other fuel by 0.4 percent.
In addition, the year on year price surge was due to the increase in prices in the five groups; transport, education, furniture and household equipment and miscellaneous goods.
