(MENAFN) Qatar’s inflation rate increased 3.3 percent year-on-year in March 2016, while the index which estimated at 107.6 percent remained stable.
Moreover, the increase was linked to the growing prices seen in the eight groups, namely: “Recreation and Culture” by 11.2 percent.
In addition, the prices of “Housing, Water, Elect and Gas” reached 5.4 percent, “Furniture and Household Equipment” and “Transport” by 1.5 percent.
However, a drop was in price levels in other groups, like: “Food and Beverages by 1.9 percent, “Health” by 0.3 percent.
