Qatar’s non-residents assets reach USD95.29bn

(MENAFN) The value of Qatar’s assets with non-residents at the end of 2015 reached USD95.29bn, up by USD6.45bn compared to USD88.75bn posted in 2014.

Moreover, other foreign investments at the end of 2015 accounted for 58 percent, or QR199.6bn of the total assets.

In addition, the liabilities to non-residents, at the end of 2015 increased by USD19.46bn or 15 percent to USD148.78bn from USD129.31bn.

At the end of 2015, other foreign investments reached QR330.7bn, or 61 percent, followed by FDI in Qatar at QR137.2bn.
