(MENAFN) Real estate prices in Qatar increased increased in June, according to Arabian Business.
The total price for land, commercial and residential properties in June was up 20 percent compared to their orevious peak in September 2008.
The increase is still within the fundamentals of Qatar’s fast growing economy and rapid population growth.
The current price levels were close to the limit of the fundamentals. According to the latest data, the REPI grew 21.5 percent in the first six months of 2014, showing a significant acceleration compared with the 6.2 percent increase in the second half of 2013.
