Qatar’s real estate sector grows sharply by 2014-end

(MENAFN) The final week of 2014 in Qatar witnessed strong real estate transaction deal in terms of volume of USD 384million, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

The surge in the deal value was supported by the execution of four major deals that crossed USD274.44 thousand in total value, According to Ezdan Holding Group.

Al Wakrah Municipality topped both in terms of value and transaction numbers, with a total of 25 deals worth USD356.77 million, representing 72.6 percent of the transactions value

Al Shamal Municipality ranked second in terms of value. The trading value in the municipality represented USD38 thousand through nine deals, the figures showed.
