(MENAFN) Qatar said that it signed military contracts worth around USD23 billion, Arabian Business reported.
The contracts are to buy attack helicopters, guided missiles, tankers and other weapons from Boeing Co, Airbus and other arms makers.
The country announced the deals with about 20 global companies, including deals with firms from the US at a value of USD7.6 billion.
The contracts were expected to include deals with Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and others.
